About Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah

The Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah university was established in 2011 in Nairobi, after its first two campuses – one in Surat, India and another in Karachi, Pakistan. One more campus in Mumbai, India is the latest one, established in 2013. It offers an 11-year course of study, divided into three phases of years and courses, focusing on specialization and advanced studies in Islamic and Arabic sciences. The purpose of this university is to provide young Dawoodi Bohra men and women an education based on the principles of Fatimi philosophy.

Requirements & Challenges

  • The Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah needed internet coverage for the campus that is spread over 12 acres, consisting of 18 buildings that is 900,000 ft square of carpet area.
  • The campus includes indoor and outdoor spaces along with residential areas for men & women for over 1000 students.
  • The Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah required the differentiation of the internet for the teaching staff, students, and guests of the campus.
  • The Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah has to allow secure access to parents to visit their children in the boarding place, guest lecturers,
    and visiting faculty teaching in the campus for a limited time.
  • Above all, security and privacy of the network had to be promised as the place is a student-centric place.
